Best known for his 1932 novel Brave New World, Aldous Huxley later wrote about his experimentation with psychedelic drugs. Aldous Huxley was almost completely blind as a teenager. Aldous Huxley struggled with eyesight for most of his life. Aldous Huxley wrote for Vanity Fair and Vogue. On November 22, 1963, Huxley died of cancer of the larynx, three years after he was diagnosed with the illness.
